When a dance is a 50/50 split, the dance will be placed in the higher level. Studio owners may request the routine be placed in the lower level. 50% or more of the same dancers cannot compete in differing level routines within the same age class and division. Failure to follow these rules may result in the routine being “adjudicated only”. Who: Lady Gaga’s Backup Dancers Their dance: Why we chose them: The quarterback might call the shots, but he couldn’t win—or even play—without his team. And when it came to the 13-minute Super Bowl LI halftime show at Houston’s NRG Stadium, that couldn’t have been more true for Lady Gaga and her bevvy of amazing backup dancers. These dancers have had extensive training. Should there be dancers in a group of two levels, the level should be determined by the majority of the dancers. Any Soloist in the elite division may not compete in the intermediate division in a duet/trio or group. All Soloists must compete all solo routines at the same level. When we think of our favorite comedians, we know they can make us laugh. But are they good at dancing? Each week, two teams of comedians will compete in a series of comedic dance-offs.

  • On many of the newer cars, just spark plugs, fuel and air filters and PCV valve remain of the items that we used to consider part of a 'tune up'. Someday the spark plugs may disappear also. Because the word 'tune up' can mean so many different things the manufactures don't list tune ups in.
  • An auto tune-up is something you should hire a professional to perform on your vehicle every 30,000 miles or two years, whichever comes first. Several components of your vehicle’s engine require regular maintenance to remain efficient, and it is essential that you take your vehicle in for a tune-up regularly.

THIS IS A RUSH TRANSCRIPT. THIS COPY MAY NOT BE IN ITS FINAL FORM AND MAY BE UPDATED.

A.J. HAMMER, SHOWBIZ CO-HOST: Big news breaking today on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT - the Lindsay Lohan out of rehab mystery. Lindsay is free today after serving less than a third of her court-ordered rehab stay. Why was she let out early? Was it the right thing to do? But wait, there`s more. Is a shocking misdiagnosis to blame for Lindsay`s problems?
The Tiger Woods ex files. Tiger Woods` ex-wife Elin is speaking out today for the very first time since the cheating scandal that destroyed her marriage. What is she saying about Tiger`s cheating? And did Elin really hit Tiger with a golf club?
Simon`s shocking new scandal today. Could Simon Cowell`s new show after 'Idol' be in big trouble even before it goes on the air?
Heidi Montag`s breast regrets. Heidi`s unbelievable revelations today about what she wants to do with her breast implants.
ANNOUNCER: TV`s most provocative entertainment news show starts right now.
(MUSIC PLAYING)
HAMMER: Hello. I`m A.J. Hammer, coming to you from New York City.
BROOKE ANDERSON, CO-HOST: Hi, there, everyone. I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood with big news today. Lindsay is let out of rehab. Lindsay`s done with her jail and rehab sentence, but it looks like she`s not out of the clear just yet.
HAMMER: No, not at all. Lindsay`s attorney faced the judge today and said Lindsay is a changed woman. She`s learned her lesson. But it isn`t over for Lindsay Lohan. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT can tell you Lindsay got absolutely slammed with an even tougher probation today than she had before she went to jail. The question is, can Lindsay handle the heat?
With me in New York is Sunny Hostin. Sunny is a legal contributor for 'In Session' on our sister network, Tru TV. With me from Atlanta, Carlos Diaz, who is a syndicated radio host. And all week long, he is hosting 'ISSUES WITH JANE VELEZ-MITCHELL,' in for Jane, at 7:00 p.m. right here on HLN.
Personally, I was pleased to hear how strict Lindsay`s new probation is going to be. But wow, what a stunning order. For the next 67 days, that judge is keeping Lindsay Lohan really busy. Brooke Anderson, lay it out for us. What did the judge order Lindsay to do?
ANDERSON: Yes. Really busy is an understatement, A.J. You know, if Lindsay thought things were tough before, you`ve get a load of this. She cannot travel outside of California until November.
She`s got to be available for random drug and alcohol tests twice a week. She must go to psychotherapy sessions at least four times a week. She has to attend a 12-step chemical dependency class five times a week.
And she needs to have at least seven contacts a week with her chemical dependency program with at least two in-person meetings every week. And if she misses any of those drug tests, she could face up to 30 days in jail.
Sunny, she`s got to focus on this like it is her job. This is remarkable. It`s intense.
SUNNY HOSTIN, LEGAL CONTRIBUTOR, 'IN SESSION' ON TRU TV: It is very intense, but the problem here is if she fails any of those requirements she allegedly gets 30 days in jail. I think that`s a hollow promise right now because for Lindsay Lohan because she got 90 days in jail and only spent 13 days in jail.
And so, you know, what do you do with someone that really has received I think the Hollywood jail treatment, and that`s what you`re punishing her with? If you don`t, you know, do what you`re supposed to do, Lindsay, you may go back to jail for 30 days. She doesn`t believe that. I don`t believe that. And that`s the problem.
ANDERSON: Thirty, maybe three - who knows? A.J., what do you think?
HAMMER: Well, here`s the thing. I see it two ways. On the one hand, I think it`s unfortunate then that she was taken out of rehab, because if the judge feels all these components are really necessary, well, had she stayed in rehab, it would be much easier to make sure she adhered to every point that was laid out in that order.
On the other hand, it was smart because if, in fact, she does comply with everything in this order, and I`d like to see that happen, well, then, it will show how serious she really is. Carlos Diaz, what do you think?
CARLOS DIAZ, SYNDICATED RADIO SHOW HOST: I completely agree with you, A.J. In fact, I`m wondering if she`s not saying, 'Can I go back to rehab?'
HOSTIN: Yes. Exactly.
DIAZ: That seemed a little easier, because what you`re doing is you`re almost setting her up to fail, because Lindsay lives in a world that very few of us know about, really no one on this panel, because it is just sheer decadence where anything you want is at your fingertips.
There`s a premiere tonight for 'Machete.' Now, we`ve heard that she`s not going to be there. But what if she decides to go last minute? I hear at after-parties, there may be alcohol, maybe.
So I mean, she`s going to have all these things - drugs, alcohol, temptations shoved in her face for the next 67 days.
HAMMER: Yes.
DIAZ: And if she is in rehab, she doesn`t have to worry about saying no to those things. Rehab seems a lot easier than her real life now.
HAMMER: No question about that. Lindsay`s attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, once complained Lindsay was being treated unfairly. SHOWBIZ TONIGHT was right there at the court today when Holley was singing a very different tune.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
SHAWN CHAPMAN HOLLEY, LINDSAY LOHAN`S ATTORNEY: I am hoping that this is a new beginning for Miss Lohan. This is a good day for her in court. She has complied with everything that has been asked of her.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: You know, she went on to say that Lindsay has learned her lesson. Sunny, I would hope that Lindsay has finally learned her lesson, but do you think she has?
HOSTIN: I just don`t, and I hate to be such a pessimist. But again, she really hasn`t paid the price, the judge - the initial judge - Judge Revel - set out for her. That was 90 days in prison. And I think that would have really been the wake-up call. Someone says that`s what you`re going to get, and that`s what you`re going to get.
HAMMER: Yes.
HOSTIN: She seems to be able to wiggle her way around the system, and that is when you get those repeat customers in the criminal justice system.
HAMMER: Well, her parents are thrilled she`s out of rehab. Lindsay`s father, Michael, had been saying all along that Lindsay did have a serious problem, that she needed rehab. She needed treatment for drugs.
This afternoon, Michael spoke with Dr. Drew in an exclusive interview for tonight`s 'JOY BEHAR SHOW' here on HLN. Drew is filling in for Joy this week. Surprisingly, both Dr. Drew and Michael Lohan think Lindsay`s future looks bright. Watch what they said.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
DR. DREW PINSKY, HOST, 'CELEBRITY REHAB': She got standard care. She got psychiatric treatment initially and stabilization. And now, she`s getting court-mandated chemical dependency treatment. It seems like, in my opinion, she`s vastly better off than, say, the last time you and I met eye ball to eyeball. Would you agree to that?
MICHAEL LOHAN, LINDSAY LOHAN`S FATHER: One hundred percent.
PINSKY: So you`re relieved to see how she`s doing?
M. LOHAN: Yes. I think the incarceration might have been a scare tactic for her. I didn`t think that was the right way to treat her.
PINSKY: She got out of it pretty quick. Thank goodness.
M. LOHAN: Yes. Thank god. But you know, now, from what I understand with the mandated aftercare, I think it`s what she need from the beginning.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: Well, Carlos, Michael seems to think that Lindsay does have a real shot at turning her life around as long as she sticks to the court-ordered program. I`m optimistic the same way, if she does stick to it. What about you?
DIAZ: Well, it`s so far so good in camp Lohan, because not only did Michael say those things to Dr. Drew about how, you know, he`s in support of what Lindsay`s doing now. Because he could have easily come out and said, 'Whoa, whoa, whoa. She was in there for less than a month. I`m totally against it.'
So he`s in support. And Dina has come out with a statement saying that, you know, they want to move forward in a positive way rather than - I thought, for sure, Dina would be blaming the judge, you know, pointing fingers. So at least Dina`s(sic) parents initially now are taking steps in the right direction.
HAMMER: Yes. That is true, although we have said it before. Maybe it would be best if they just both got out of the way completely.
Now, Lindsay`s attorney also said this today, quote, 'I am hoping this is a new beginning for Miss Lohan. She`s completed everything that`s been asked of her. She`s healthy, clear-headed, positive.'
But is this really a new beginning? Carlos, Sunny, a year from now, are we going to be saying, 'Wow, what a comeback, Lindsay'? Or will we be saying, 'What the heck happened?' It`s an explosive question we`re asking today - Lindsay Lohan: Is all hope lost? We`re back in just 30 seconds.
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
HAMMER: Sunny Hostin, what do you think? A year from now will we be saying, 'Wow, what a comeback, Lindsay'? Or will we be saying, 'What the heck happened?'
HOSTIN: I think we`re going to say, 'What the heck happened?' And I, again, wish her the best. I think, you know, she`s hopefully in the right trace. But we`re going to see her again. She`s going to be a repeat customer.
HAMMER: Well, SHOWBIZ TONIGHT knows at least one guy who would hire Lindsay. Last night, we caught up with the director of the move 'The Last Exorcism.' He tells SHOWBIZ TONIGHT he would totally hire Linds. Watch this.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I think if anything all this experience that`s happened to her is going to get channeled into some amazing character work. As a director or as producer, she`s has an incredible talent. I would not count that girl out, not by a long shot.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: All right. Carlos Diaz, what do you think about that? Do you think Lindsay could actually make a comeback in the next year or a year from now? Or are you with Sunny that she`ll be back in the system and we`ll be wondering what went wrong here?
DIAZ: Well, did you ask that director if he wanted to perform an exorcism on Lindsay or did he want to cast her in the movie? You know what? Here`s the thing. Lindsay, go out and buy 'People' magazine in week. Read the article with Elin Nordegren, OK?
She comes off as a strong, independent person who did right, who got with her family, who did all the right things. You need to read that article and follow it like a handbook for the next year.
And hopefully, next year you`re on the cover of 'People' saying, 'Here`s my story,' and it`s a success story.
HAMMER: If she adheres to everything that was handed down by the judge today, are you more optimistic?
HOSTIN: I am more optimistic, because this is going to be very difficult. It`s a laundry list of requirements. And she`s got 67 days to show the court and to show the world that she can do it.
HAMMER: That`s right. It`s just for the court, but really, we`re all watching.
HOSTIN: Yes.
HAMMER: We want to see. And quite frankly, we are rooting for her even if we`re not so optimistic. Sunny Hostin, Carlos Diaz, thanks, guys.
Well, now, we want to hear from you. It`s our exclusive SHOWBIZ TONIGHT poll - 'Lindsay Lohan Out of Rehab: Was she released too early?' Let us know what you think. CNN.com/ShowbizTonight is where you vote. You can also E-mail showbiztonight@cnn.com.
ANDERSON: All right. Moving on the Tiger Woods ex files. Tiger Woods` ex-wife, Elin, is speaking out today for the very first time since the cheating scandal that destroyed their marriage. And Tiger`s emotional reaction today.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
TIGER WOODS, PROFESSIONAL GOLFER: I don`t think you ever - you don`t ever going into a marriage looking to get divorced. That`s the thing. That`s why it is sad.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
ANDERSON: Sandra finally speaks. I`ve got the details of Sandra Bullock`s very first TV interview since splitting up from her cheating hubby. The big debate today, what are the must-ask questions Sandra`s got to answer?
And I`ve got to warn you, this might hurt your years. A 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' star singing.
(MUSIC PLAYING)
ANDERSON: Why, Danielle, why? What did we ever do to you?
HAMMER: Time now for And now, the 'SHOWBIZ News Ticker' - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.
TEXT: Angelina Jolie to write, direct and produce a story in wartime Bosnia. Susan Boyle is going to sing for the pope when he visits the U.K.
(COMMERCIAL BREAK)
HAMMER: Lady Gaga took down Britney Spears as Twitter queen. But today, Brit says, hey, no biggie. Gaga now has more people following her on Twitter than Britney - right now, 5.8 million are following Gaga. Britney`s got 5.7 million Twitter followers.
Britney says she`s a Gaga fan and even says she wouldn`t rule out teaming up with Lady Gaga. Now, I think that would be mad cool.
Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. I`m A.J. Hammer in New York with Brooke Anderson in Hollywood. And Brooke, some bad news today for Simon Cowell, right?
ANDERSON: Indeed, A.J. A Simon scandal? Brand-new outrage today over news that former 'American Idol' judge Simon Cowell may have used voice manipulation software called auto-tune on his U.K, talent show 'X Factor.'
Remember, that is the show that Simon left 'Idol' for so that he can bring it to the United States. So the big question today is, could this get in the way of that?
Right now, in New York, is Steven Smith, who is a music and pop culture expert. Also right now in New York, Taryn Winter-Brill who is a TV journalist.
Steven, Taryn, I`m shocked that this was even allowed to happen. When I heard it, I said, what? Making contestants sound better or worse? They should be ashamed. The show is supposed to be about raw talent.
Steven, do you think Simon`s auto-tune scandal spells trouble for the 'X Factor' coming to the U.S.?
STEVEN SMITH, MUSIC AND POP CULTURE EXPERT: First of all, no, because I think the man is Teflon. Everything bounces off his sweater and slides down his chest. But really, you`re shocked? You`re shocked that a glorified karaoke contest might have voice tuning or voice manipulation? Really?
All people have to do is showcase how they sing. They don`t really have to write a song. I know 'X-Factor' has judges who go out and work with them and do different things.
But Seriously, I don`t think Simon has anything to worry about. He`ll be like, yes, whatever. I`m pretty sure that`s going to be his actual response.
ANDERSON: Yes. You make a good point. And I think enough time will probably lapse between this and the debut of the show in the U.S., that people will forgive and forget.
All right. I`ve got to move now big breaking news about Sandra Bullock. The 'Today' show revealed today that she is giving her first on- camera, post-divorce interview from New Orleans on their show next week.
We`ve heard a lot of things Sandra had to say about her split with Jesse James after he cheated on her. We`ve seen Jesse speak out on ABC News. So Taryn, what do you want to hear from Sandra next week?
TARYN WINTER BRILL, TV JOURNALIST: Actually, what I`ve been wondering this entire time, Brooke, is when we saw them at the Academy Awards, did she know at that point? Was that a ruse? Was that all a show? That`s the first question on my sheet.
ANDERSON: I don`t think she knew. I think it was a genuine presentation by her. And she thanked him, and she expressed love, professed love.
BRILL: She`s an actress.
ANDERSON: Steven, what do you want to hear from Sandra?
SMITH: I want to hear from Sandra what her next movie is going to be about, what her next project she`s going to produce is, what her next TV show is.
I think we`ve had enough of Sandra`s personal life. I think she`s had enough of her personal life based on previous award shows she`s been on. I think she wants to focus on her art, which why we like her and leave the rest of that to her.
ANDERSON: She may have had enough of herself already, and she probably wants to focus on her child as well.
SMITH: I`m with her.
ANDERSON: Steven Smith, Taryn Winter-Brill, thanks, guys.
HAMMER: Now, Brooke, no huge surprise here. A lot of calls are coming in today about Fantasia`s shocking suicide admission.
ANDERSON: That`s right, A.J. The 'American Idol' star says that yes, she did try to kill herself. But it wasn`t because of her alleged affair with a married man. Vanessa calling into 'Showbiz on Call' from North Carolina feels badly for Fantasia.
(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)
CALLER: All I want to say is I think that Fantasia is a gifted young woman who has surrounded herself with a lot of bad influences, meaning her hangers-on and her family. She needs to take care of herself and think about her daughter. With her depression and things, she shouldn`t really be out promoting. She has had a very tragic life.
(END AUDIO CLIP)
ANDERSON: Thanks, Vanessa.
HAMMER: I`m also with Vanessa. And Kendra who calls in from Texas tells us that Fantasia needs to take some time off as well.
(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)
KENDRA, CALLER FROM TEXAS: I like Fantasia, but anyone that knows a man is married and messing with him, she`s in the wrong. And she needs to - like the gentleman said - needs to stay out the spotlight right now because she`s not in good mental condition.
(END AUDIO CLIP)
HAMMER: Thanks a lot, Kendra. We`d love for you to call us at 'Showbiz on Call' to sound off on this or anything else at all.
ANDERSON: The 'Showbiz on Call' phone lines are open 24/7. Here`s the number - 1-888-SBT-BUZZ; 1-888-728-2899. Simply leave a voicemail. We will play some of your calls right here on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.
HAMMER: Well, guess what? Heidi Montag has big breast regrets today. Heidi`s unbelievable revelations about what she wants to do with her breast implants now. You know, those G cup implants that she got along with the nine other plastic surgeries she had in one day.
Tiger Woods` ex-wife Elin is speaking out for the very first time since the cheating scandal that destroyed her marriage. And Tiger is speaking out as well.
And you`ve obviously heard of Lady Gaga. Well, I would like you to check out Mr. Gaga or is it Mr. Lady Gaga?
(MUSIC PLAYING)
HAMMER: Who the heck is this guy? Yes, that is a guy. And why is he being called the male Lady Gaga today? This is SHOWBIZ TONIGHT on HLN news and views.
It`s time now to roll out the 'SHOWBIZ News Ticker' - more stories from the SHOWBIZ TONIGHT newsroom making news today.
TEXT: Emmy nominee Martin Short will skip Emmy Awards as he grieves the death of his wife. U2 fined in Barcelona, Spain for rehearsing too long and too loudly!

(MUSIC PLAYING)
HAMMER: Check out this guy. That`s a guy and his name is Prince Poppycock. Today he`s called the male Lady Gaga. Prince Poppycock is one of the semifinalists on 'America`s Got Talent' and he brought the audience to its feet doing this unbelievable version of Queen`s 'Bohemian Rhapsody.'
You`ve got to check this out. Look at Prince Poppycock`s outfit. He`s got the makeup. He`s got the props. You know, it`s no wonder judge Sharon Osbourne just crowned the prince the male Lady Gaga.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
SHARON OSBOURNE, JUDGE, 'AMERICA`S GOT TALENT': I tell you what, you are the male Lady Gaga. You are a superstar. A superstar. And I bow down to you. I absolutely adore you.
PRINCE POPPYCOCK, CONTESTANT, 'AMERICA`S GOT TALENT': Oh, no, my empress. My hat is off to you if it wasn`t pinned on so tightly.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
HAMMER: Empress, eh? You know, they say that the really Lady Gaga got her name from the queen song 'Radio Gaga.' So Brooke Anderson, I`m thinking, perhaps you get Prince Poppycock together with Lady Gaga. You call them the Gagas. You call them the Poppy Gas or something like that. And they can sing 'Radio Gaga.' Is that a dumb idea?
ANDERSON: No, I don`t think so at all. You know, I think Prince Poppycock knows - just saying that name makes me laugh - but knows how to steal the show, just like Lady Gaga. So I think a collaboration could be pretty fierce.
HAMMER: We haven`t seen the last of Prince Poppycock, Brooke.
ANDERSON: No, we haven`t. All right. And A.J., you know, maybe Nicole Richie`s daughter can get together with the Gagas because, today, she is a music star. Did you see this? Nicole`s two-and-a-half-year-old daughter, Harlow, joined her dad, The Charlotte`s Joe Madden, in a brand-new video revealed today.
Now, it was made to promote the band`s new song which is called 'Like It`s Her Birthday.' I`m going to be straight with you. Some say that they`re pimping out little Harlow to sell this song, but I think this video is harmless.
Please, it`s a quick little YouTube clip. Joel is holding his daughter and asks her to responds to a question. He seems like a devoted, loving father. This is not a controversy.
HAMMER: This is the SHOWBIZ lineup. This is what`s coming up on SHOWBIZ TONIGHT.
Tiger Woods` ex-wife speaks for the very first time since the cheating scandal that destroyed her marriage. And Tiger`s dramatic, emotional response today.

HAMMER: Welcome back to SHOWBIZ TONIGHT. It is 30 minutes past the hour. I`m A.J. Hammer coming to you from New York City.
ANDERSON: And I`m Brooke Anderson in Hollywood with big news breaking today - Elin`s ex files.
HAMMER: Tiger Woods` ex-wife, Elin Nordegren, broke her silence today for the very first time about the sex scandal that led to their divorce. And she`s finally telling all, all about the pain she`s been through, all about Tiger`s serial cheating and the hell that she says she`s been through.
Perhaps just as remarkable, Tiger Woods also spoke out today on camera about his just finalized messy divorce.
(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)
WOODS: This is a sad time in our lives.
HAMMER (voice-over): A down Tiger Woods speaking out today for the very first time since his divorce from his wife, Elin Nordegren, became final on Monday.
WOODS: You don`t go into a marriage looking to get divorced.
HAMMER: And now, Tiger`s ex whom we`ve barely seen and never heard from since his cheating scandal exploded in the tabloids is also speaking out today.
What Elin calls her first and last interview was revealed today in the upcoming new issue of 'People' magazine. She tells 'People' she`s been keeping quiet for the sake of her and Tiger`s children, 3-year-old Sam and 19-month-old Charlie.
COOPER LAWRENCE, SYNDICATED RADIO HOST: I like the fact that she`s been silent. Now, that it`s all over. It`s resolved. There`s a divorce settlement. I think, now, she feels like she can talk.
HAMMER: The first thing Elin wants to set straight, what happened that November night when Tiger Woods crashed his SUV. Elin tells 'People,' quote, 'There was never any violence inside or outside our home. The speculation I would have used a golf club to hit him is just truly ridiculous.'
It was after that car crash that the world found out what Elin apparently learned that night, that Tiger had been cheating on her repeatedly with a seemingly endless parade of women.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: There will always be a place in my heart for Tiger.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I did feel guilty.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: It`s been very tough.
HAMMER: Elin says like the rest of the world she, too, was blindsided by Tiger`s betrayal. We learned today she revealed this to 'People,' quote, 'I felt stupid as more things were revealed. How could I not have known anything? The word `betrayal` isn`t strong enough. I felt like my whole world had fallen apart.'
WOODS: I certainly understand she is sad, and I feel the same way.
HAMMER: Speaking today at a practice for his latest golf tournament in New Jersey, Tiger said he doesn`t blame his wife for her strong feelings.
WOODS: My actions certainly led us to this decision, and I`ve certainly made a lot of errors in my life. And that`s something I`m going to have to live with.
HAMMER: Even after that epic betrayal, Elin confirms for the first time that she and Tiger did try to save their marriage. She tells 'People,' quote, 'I thought we had a chance and we tried really hard.'
But Elin adds, 'If there`s no trust between the parents, I think it`s better for the children that the parents split up.'
But it hasn`t been all gloom and doom for Elin, who has dropped Tiger`s last name. She says she is learning to laugh. She praises the parodies of her she saw on 'South Park' and on 'Saturday Night Live.'
UNIDENTIFIED ACTOR: This is all my fault. Believe it or not, I actually ran over myself.
HAMMER: Elin tells 'People' those parodies, quote, 'were pretty hysterical even if they were totally untrue.' And she says she`s working on forgiving her now ex-husband who has shared custody of their kids.
She tells 'People,' quote, 'I wish him all the best in the future as a person and as an athlete. I will always have a working parenting relationship with Tiger.' And that`s something this now ex-couple can agree on.
WOODS: I wish her the best in everything. We`re looking, you know, forward to - in our lives and how we can help our kids the best way we possibly can. And that`s the most important thing.
(END VIDEOTAPE)
ANDERSON: Well, Elin certainly moved forward by leaps and bounds by telling her story today, but a lot of people were wondering why speak out now? Which leads to today`s 'SHOWBIZ Flashpoint,' was it a good idea for Tiger`s ex-wife to break her silence?
Right now, in New York, Sunny Hostin, who is a legal contributor for 'In Session' on Tru TV. And also, in New York, the woman who interviewed Elin Nordegren for the 'People' magazine exclusive, Sandra Sobieraj Westfall, who is Washington correspondent for 'People' magazine.
Sandra, first of all, congratulations on your amazing exclusive with Elin. And I`ve got to say, I am really impressed with Elin and how she`s handled herself with class and with dignity throughout what she has described as hell.
Sandra, you spent 19 hours with Elin. To the 'SHOWBIZ Flashpoint,' was it a good idea for Elin to break her silence? I think it was. She deserved to have her say.
SANDRA SOBIERAJ WESTFALL, WASHINGTON CORRESPONDENT, 'PEOPLE': You know, that was a question that she struggled with herself. Is this going to be a good idea? Will I be able to put the genie back in the bottle? Because she has every intention on returning to her private life.
And I think she felt like if she burst the bubble of mystery around her that she can go out in public again and not face, you know - sort of everybody holding their breath and waiting to hear from her.
ANDERSON: Sunny, what do you think? Was it a good idea for Elin to break the silence?
HOSTIN: It was just a wonderful idea. I thought she did a terrific job really expressing herself and what she was going through and what she went through, what she continues to go through.
I mean, I always say there`s a special place in hell for these women that sleep with other people`s men. Well, there`s a special place in heaven now for Elin. It`s extra fabulous, just like she is. Unbelievable interview.
ANDERSON: She deserves that, you`re right. Well, Elin says in this 'People' exclusive out today that she was in absolute shock and disbelief about Tiger`s affairs, and that she felt stupid as she was told more details.
Sandra, she told you she was busy for three and a half years with pregnancies, with babies, going to school to get a degree in psychology.
I believe her, but a lot of people are surprised to hear that she had no clue, considering the parade of alleged mistresses. You were face to face with Elin. Do you believe her?
WESTFALL: She has nothing but credibility. The way she`s handled herself, she has no reason to lie at in this point. And you know what? Being a mom myself, I know how two kids keep you busy. She`s in school and he`s on the road.
She doesn`t have any reason to distrust him. I thought one of her most telling statements in the Q and A was, 'I was betrayed by a lot of people around me.' And I think that probably speaks to, you know - everybody around her knew, those that were traveling with him, and nobody told her. So I think that was a very telling statement.
ANDERSON: Oh, I`m sure she was extremely hurt by that aspect as well. And Elin answered nearly all the burning questions that you asked, Sandra, denying that she ever tried to hit Tiger, talking about her enormous emotional distress.
But she also says that she tried really hard to save her marriage with Tiger, a guy who cheated on her with so many women. Sonny, having heard what she has to say, do you understand her reasons for trying to stay married, trying to reconcile.
HOSTIN: Well, I really do and I think she was quite eloquent in the article. And everyone, really, should pick this up because it really is a road map, I think, for a woman that is going through this.
And of course, I think she went through a lot, but she has two children. And she wanted - she`s a child of divorce. Her parents are divorced. And she explains, I think, again, quite eloquently she didn`t want that to be her life. And unfortunately, because of Tiger`s nasty behavior that has become her life.
ANDERSON: Yes. And you know, she said a marriage with no love, no trust isn`t good for anybody. And she answered basically every burning question that everybody wanted to know except one.
What specifically happened on Thanksgiving Night that made Tiger Woods leave his home in the middle of the night, crash the car into a tree? Sandra, why didn`t she want to talk about it?
WESTFALL: You know, she didn`t want details of that incident to override her story. For her, the past nine months wasn`t just about what happened that night. There`s a police report from that night.
All she wanted people to know is that she was not a violent person that night or ever. All she was trying to do was get him out of the car. It doesn`t take a rocket scientist to know that if the golf club was there and those windows were shattered, she was trying to get him out of the car.
ANDERSON: Well, yes. She is a class act and has handled herself with such grace. It`s impressive. Sunny Hostin, Sandra Sobieraj Westfall, thank you both, ladies.

HAMMER: A startling sex tape slam. The most famous ex-porn star in the world is slamming stars over their sex tapes.
Kim Kardashian drops another clue today that she`s into Justin Bieber, but does she want him as her boyfriend? Plus, Michael Douglas` divorce drama just explodes today. Why his ex-wife is fighting for more money.

'Wall Street`s' divorce sequel. Lawyers for Michael Douglas and his ex-wife just kicked off a legal battle over his upcoming sequel to 'Wall Street.' Diandra Douglas wants a New York City judge to give her half of what Michael makes from 'Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps' even though they`ve been divorced for 12 years.
Her attorneys say because the original was created during their marriage, the sequel`s profits fall under their decade-old divorce agreement. His attorneys say she doesn`t deserve a dime.
The Bieb`s babe? Once again, Kim Kardashian seems to leave the door open to date Justin Bieber when he`s 18. Kim and Justin did a controversial hand-in-hand beach photo shoot for 'Elle' magazine. And the Bieb`s fans got all riled up, even threatening Kim. Watch what Kardashian told George Lopez on his TBS show, 'Lopez Tonight.'
KIM KARDASHIAN, REALITY TV STAR, 'KEEPING UP WITH THE KARDASHIANS': If he was of legal age. He has - I said Justin Bieber has this, like, swag to him. You just have to meet. He definitely has this swag to him.
HAMMER: Sex tape slam. Former porn star Jenna Jameson doesn`t buy claims from celebrities that they are upset when the personal sex tapes are sold.
Jameson just tweeted. 'Why do people do porno tapes, sell them, make boatloads of money, then lie about being victimized? I know one of the girls that acts so prim and proper and sold her tape to get famous.' Jameson didn`t name names.
(END VIDEOTAPE)
I`ve got to tell you. I might have a few guesses as to who Jameson could be taking about, but no, I`m not going to name names, either. But her is our 'SHOWBIZ Flashpoint' - is Jenna Jameson right that stars lie about wanting their sex tapes out there?
I think that Jenna is just saying what everybody is already thinking. And I`ve said this time and time again, if you don`t want a sex tape to come out, don`t shoot one in the first place.
So Taryn, to our 'SHOWBIZ Flashpoint,' do you agree with Jenna Jameson that stars lie about not wanting their sex tapes to get out there?
BRILL: I totally agree. I`m so glad J.J. finally spoke out. If you`re a willing participant in something that`s being filmed, you want it out there - the more publicity, the better.
And on the other side of things, when I saw that movie, 'Sliver,' when there were sort of cameras in the background with Sharon Stone -
HAMMER: Right.
BRILL: Something to always be considering. Changed my life, the movie.
HAMMER: You have to keep that in mind. And J.J. - Jenna Jameson, and A.J. are on the same page. This may be a first. I`m not exactly sure.
Now, Brooke Anderson, we know that perhaps 15 years ago, when a star would have a sex tape leaked out, perhaps back then, they actually really only wanted it for their personal private collection.
But lately, these days I don`t believe that for a moment if it gets out there, because everybody knows it can. So to our 'SHOWBIZ Flashpoint,' Brooke, do you think stars protest too much about the tapes getting out?
ANDERSON: Listen, if they are the ones who are secretly negotiating these deals to get their sex tapes out there to basically, you know, exploit themselves in the name of fame and money, shame on them for not being open and honest about that.
But here`s my thing, A.J. It`s embarrassing. Why don`t people think it`s embarrassing to have a sex tape out there? I mean, what you do with your husband or your significant other is private. What is with people these days? It`s like they`ll sell their souls for a little bit of publicity. It`s disgusting.
HAMMER: Yes. Or they`re extraordinarily proud of - anyway, I`ll just move on, because we`ve been hearing reports that Heidi Montag, god forbid, would be the next celeb with a sex tape out there.
Today, she tells 'Life and Style' magazine she doubts there`s a sex tape of her. That doesn`t sound very definitive to me. But Brooke, that`s not the only big Heidi headline today, is it?
ANDERSON: No. If you can believe it, it`s not, A.J. Remarkably, Heidi Montag, the plastic surgery queen, is now saying that she regrets getting those big breast implants.
She tells 'Life and Style' her G-cup sized implants are making her miserable, causing her pain and she wants them out. Good grief.
All right. Here`s what she`s saying, 'I`m desperate to go back to normal. I`m downgrading and going a little smaller to a D or a Double D. Taryn, what worries me here is that Heidi thinks D or Double D implants are normal?
BRILL: It is totally outrageous. It`s a complete oxymoron hearing Heidi say the word 'normal.' It`s like, what is she thinking? I think some of that sort of breast implant fluid has seeped into her because it just makes no sense.
And I think she`s in the spotlight again and she wants to hear herself. There`s nothing else to talk about except her boobs once again.
ANDERSON: Yes. A.J., what do you think about this? This is extremely concerning. What is she even thinking?
HAMMER: Well, that`s exactly - I mean, it`s very concerning to us because, Brooke, you remember when the story first broke that Heidi had these nine plastic surgeries in one day, including the breast implants, we were saying, wow, here`s somebody who really needs help. And I actually became more sympathetic towards her.
She needed some kind of counseling. And to me, this just proves that she obviously didn`t get the proper advice. She obviously got enabled by being told she should go ahead and have all of these surgeries.
And now that she`s turning around on it, you know, yes, maybe she`s sort of getting a better sense of how things should be, but I still think she needs some real counseling.
ANDERSON: Yes, absolutely. I don`t know if she`s getting a better sense - D or Double D. I don`t know. I think she`s got a warped view about a lot of things, not just her breast implants, because, you, guys, in this brand- new interview out today about the possible sex tape, she tells 'Life and Style' that she`s not so upset about the possible tape as much as, quote, 'I`m mortified at the thought that people could be looking at me naked before I had the surgery.'
Oh, my goodness. I don`t know whether to laugh or to cry when I read that. This girl`s obviously got some body image issues. I wish she would just realize she is beautiful and stop mutilating herself.
HAMMER: Hopefully -
ANDERSON: All right. We`re going to leave it there. Taryn Winter-Brill, A.J., thanks.
HAMMER: All right. Let`s move on, shall we? Did you see this? The brand-new outrageous 'Real Housewives' performance. No name calling here. No hair-pulling. No swearing. Just bad dancing and even worse singing.

Plot[edit]

How can we compete with backup dancers and auto-tune 2

At the beginning of the episode Jack (Sean Hayes) learns he will have an audition to be a backup dancer for singer Janet Jackson. The audition was set up by singer Jennifer Lopez, whom Jack worked for in the same position after Lopez let him go. At the audition, Jackson decides that she would like five dancers instead of the six originally planned. Jack, 'the newbie,' and Artemus (Will Arnett), 'the guy who's been here the longest,' compete in a dance-off to determine the fifth dancer. Before the dance-off, Karen (Megan Mullally)—Jack's friend—visits to support her friend. She sees Artemus and reveals to Jack the two are former lovers. The two get back together which outrages Jack. Karen reassures Jack that their reconciliation will not affect him in any way, only for her to tell Jack to lose the dance-off. Jack tells Karen he will not throw the competition. During the dance-off, Karen pleads with Jack to lose which Jack ultimately does. Believing he won, Artemus tells Karen he used her to win. After deciding that she only needs four dancers, Jackson fires both Jack and Artemus. At the end, Karen apologizes to Jack for getting him fired.

Meanwhile, Grace (Debra Messing) copes with her failed marriage to Leo (Harry Connick, Jr.). She tries to move on, but mementos of the past do not let her. Her best friend Will (Eric McCormack) tries to help her but to no avail. While at dinner with his boyfriend Vince (Bobby Cannavale), and Vince's superior officer, Grace calls him, displeasing Vince. Believing that Grace might be suicidal, Will leaves to attend to her. Vince shows up at Will and Grace's apartment to confront her, telling her that she is affecting his relationship with Will because she is too needy. This prompts Grace and Vince to bicker, with the two asking Will to choose between them. He cannot choose between them as Grace is his long-time friend, but he also cares for Vince. The episode concludes with him telling Vince that he wants to work things out, but before they can discuss it, Vince sees Grace's wedding album, resulting in him being more focused on the album than the relationship.

Production[edit]

Janet Jackson guest starred in the episode. Her appearance received mixed reviews from critics.

'Back Up, Dancer' was written by Tracy Poust and Jon Kinnally and directed by series producer James Burrows.[1][2] It originally aired on NBC in the United States on September 23, 2004. It was confirmed in mid-2004 that singer Janet Jackson would guest star as herself on the television series Will & Grace.[3] She recorded her lines in front of a live audience on August 17.[3] Jackson's role in the show had been her first television acting role in nearly two decades.[3][4] Jackson's last prime-time role was on NBC's Fame. She also appeared in the television shows Diff'rent Strokes and Good Times.[5][6] In addition, Jackson's appearance came nine months after the Super Bowl XXXVIII halftime show controversy.[4][7] She told the entertainment news program Access Hollywood that she was a 'big fan' of the show,[4] and that she could not wait to join the cast for her stint.[7][8] Also in this interview, she believed that Sean Hayes, who plays Jack, was a decent dancer. 'I thought he studied dance. I really did, It's so funny. I have to catch myself because I'm cracking up in rehearsals. It's just funny to watch [the actors].'[9] Jackson 'had a tough time' on the set because she constantly messed up her lines. She admitted that it was not as easy as she had hoped it would be. 'I flubbed my lines and got so frustrated when I made those mistakes. I haven't done TV since Different Strokes, and it's not like Saturday Night Live where you can read cue cards. On Will & Grace, they're always rewriting, so you're always memorising.'[10] Jackson, however, said that the dancing was the 'easy part of playing myself'.[10]

It was also announced that actor Will Arnett would guest star, as Jack's dance rival.[11] Alex Herschlag, executive producer of Will & Grace, revealed Arnett's subplot in the episode, saying that Hayes and Arnett are 'vying for a job as Janet Jackson's backup dancer.'[12] In an online chat session with the Los Angeles Times, Arnett revealed that the reason for his guest spot was due to knowing one of the writers of the show, and Arnett being friends with Hayes.[13] In an April 2007 interview with The Advocate, Arnett said that he enjoyed doing his guest spot on the show.[14]

Reception[edit]

According to the Nielsen system, 'Back Up, Dancer' was watched by 15.32 million households in its original American broadcast.[15][16] The episode received a 7.1 rating/19 share among viewers in the 18–49 demographic, and was the eighth highest-rated show on the NBC network that week.[15] 'Back Up, Dancer' finished in 13th place in the weekly ratings for the week of September 20–26, 2004.[17] Since airing the episode has received mixed reviews from television critics.

In preview of the episode, Phil Rosenthal of the Chicago Sun-Times said: 'If you're going to book a former cast member from Good Times as a guest for your sitcom, do yourself a favor and try getting Jimmie Walker, John Amos or Ja'net Dubois before settling for Janet Jackson.'[18] Scott D. Pierce of Deseret News reported that Jackson's appearance 'takes the focus off the regular characters'[19] while Mark Harris of Entertainment Weekly commented that Jackson's guest spot 'was an all-time low'.[20]

Gary Susman of Entertainment Weekly was complimentary towards Jackson, concluding that she was 'all business, playing it straight' in the episode.[21] He reported that 'she makes a fabulous entrance and departs with her dignity intact'.[21]Charleston Daily Mail contributor Kevin McDonough wrote that in the season premiere episode 'FYI: I Hurt, Too' of season seven, singer Jennifer Lopez appeared 'in a farfetched and laugh-free guest appearance. Tonight ['Back Up, Dancer'], it's Janet Jackson's turn. At least she has sitcom experience.'[22] In her annual countdown of the best quotes of 2004, Amy Amatangelo of Knight Ridder included Will Arnett's line 'Like a Sicilian woman's eyebrows, we could not be kept apart'.[23] In March 2006, Entertainment Weekly named Jackson's guest spot as their number nine most memorable guest appearance on Will & Grace.[21]
