Hey guys, this morning I got an an update message telling me to update LittleSnitch. I hit the ok button, LittleSnitch installed and told me to reboot, I did that and then the struggle began. While my Mac boots it got stuck with an Installation Log Failure. The screen looked nearly the same like this one:mkummer wrote:

In Disk Utility I mounted my system's drive.

- In Terminal I removed the following directory:
rm -rf /Volumes/<your system's drive name>/Library/Extensions/LittleSnitch.kext
or just rename it somehow.
- Rebooted

- I had a similar issue with my MBP 2012 (SSD installed for the past 3 years or so), never had any problems until after a flight the other day. Thought the X-Ray may have damaged the SSD so reinstalled etc. And nothing worked.

I was not able to delete the LittleSnitch.kext with terminal so I started in Safe Mode and deleted the file with Finder but that didn't helped. My last idea was to reinstall HighSierra but this also failed by an installer com.apple.osinstall-error -3. Now I got really stuck in trouble, Safe Mode doesn't work any more, verbose boot also. Can anyone help me? Cant believe that a simple Update can crash my Mac this hard. Formatting my HHD is not an option I will loose to much un backuped data.

In order to perform its duty, Little Snitch needs to add components to a very low level of the operating system, which also need to be registered and unregistered with the system. It is therefore not sufficient to just remove all of Little Snitch’s application bundles. Instead, Little Snitch Uninstaller must be run.
Little Snitch Uninstaller
The easiest way to open the Little Snitch Uninstaller is to drag Little Snitch Configuration from the Applications folder to the trash. Little Snitch’s background processes notice this and automatically start the uninstaller that is located in /Library/Little Snitch/Little Snitch Uninstaller.app.
Alternatively, the Little Snitch Uninstaller can be found in the Little Snitch .dmg disk image file, next to the Installer. Gl glut.h no such file or directory dev c++. If you don’t have the disk image at hand, you can always download the current version from our website.

The uninstallation process itself is straight forward, with only one option to choose: Whether you want to remove your rules and settings or not. How to add graphics in dev c 5.11 indir. After the process is finished, you must restart your computer.
If you enable the option to remove rules and settings, the Uninstaller deletes all your system-wide configuration and rules files (also any files from older Little Snitch installations), including the file that stores your license information, as well as the configuration files, rules files and log files for the user executing the Uninstaller.

Please note that the Uninstaller does more than move the application bundles to the trash and delete the configuration files. If you really want to remove Little Snitch completely from your system it is highly recommended to use the provided uninstallation application.
